Kate Jacobi is a partner at Reichardt Noce & Young, LLC. Kate has spent most of her career representing insurance company clients in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, assisting clients at all stages through the claims process. In addition, Kate has assisted insurers with developing policy language and best claims practices. She represents insurers throughout Missouri and Illinois. Kate previously worked in the general counsel’s office for a global insurance company, primarily supporting the underwriting and product development teams and advising on regulatory issues.

Kate is an active member of the The Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM). She serves on the Executive Counsel for CLM’s Claims College, School of Extra-Contractual Claims. She has earned her Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) designation, as well. Kate was named a Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers Rising Star consecutively from 2015 through 2021. She was also named an Emerging Lawyer for Illinois Leading Lawyers in 2019 and received the Rising Star award in 2019 from the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel.

In 2011, Kate graduated cum laude from St. Louis University School of Law. She graduated cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Truman State University in 2007. A St. Louis native, Kate attended St. Joseph’s Academy for high school. She is licensed in Missouri and Illinois.

Kate resides in Chicago, where she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pup. In her free time, she likes to read, volunteer at a local animal shelter and soak up as much patio time as she can.
